 MUSIC JOURNEY

Zeze Kingston started his music journey in 2010/11, he is the firstborn child in a family of three with two kid sisters.

 He was born on 24th March and he turned 30 this year. His mom was 15 when he got pregnant and his dad was 20. They got married at that time because, at the time when you get pregnant, you had to get married to the father. 

He started recording music way back in Chilobwe Ghetto. When he started working on music he had no money coming in and he was struggling a lot in life until when he started working at a company as a worker and started ranking up. But, he had to stop the music because of work until 2018 when GABA took him to South Africa. 

On 28th March 2018, the passport came in and on 1st April he got in South Africa. A year later he met Jillz who he worked with way back in their quarterback group they started recording and they never stopped until now, he is the one who taught Jillz how to produce and make music. 

He has recorded a lot of music in his whole music journey but he never prospered until when he recorded a single with Temwa a Malawian-based female artist, a song called “Mvetsela” he did not even think that is the song that will make people know about him. 

Last year he produced a full “Ep” called “in my zone” which featured “Mvetsela” and it is so popular till now while we are talking. That's when he realized that God has a reason for everything.

 He is super proud of everything that is happening in his life coz of hard work, “I am so hungry to change the music industry and am ready for anything". He said.
