GRADUATES LAUNCH FINANCIAL CONSULTANCY SERVICE IN MALAWI

In a groundbreaking move for Malawi's growing business ecosystem, six recent graduates have come together to establish a financial consultancy firm aimed at supporting both individuals and small businesses in the country. The consultancy, named DEM CPS Financial Consultancy was founded by a diverse group of university graduates from Malawi College of Accountancy.

The six founders, decided to pursue their shared vision after noticing a gap in financial literacy and consultancy firms in the country. They identified that many Malawians, particularly small business owners and young entrepreneurs, struggle to manage their finances effectively, leading to unnecessary debt and stunted growth. By leveraging their academic knowledge and practical experience, they aim to bridge this gap.

The services offered by DEM CPS Financial Consultancy include Tax Advisory Services, Preparation of Accounts, Preparation of Loans, Teaching Accounting Softwares and Auditing and Stock Taking. The launch of DEM CPS Financial Consultancy comes at a time when Malawi is seeking to strengthen its financial infrastructure. The Malawian government has been encouraging innovation and supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to help grow the economy and reduce unemployment.

The founders have big dreams for the future. They plan to expand their services to other parts of the country and possibly beyond Malawi’s borders into neighboring countries. Their ultimate goal is to establish the company as a leading comprehensive tech-driven financial consulting firm expanding both nationally and internationally.
